Geffen Records - Snoop Dogg Official Site

Snoop Dogg is a rare exception in the turbulent world of Hip-Hop. In a genre where big names come and go just as fast as hit records, Snoop Dogg has managed to stay tremendously relevant throughout his 16-plus years in the game. From music to movies, video games to clothing lines and now his own hit TV show (E!’s reality series Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood), Snoop Dogg is an all-out pop culture icon and household name.

When Geffen Records needed to create a new web presence for Snoop, they contacted us. We created a site that combined Flash, XHTML/CSS and .Net to mesh seamlessly with Geffen's existing .Net-based content management system. The system was several years old and presented some architecture challenges, but Zygii was up to the task, creating a site that delivers a lot of information, but does not look like the "cookie cutter" CMS-based sites typical of larger organizations.

The interactive portions of the site were created in Flash, with the majority of the site being XHTML connected to a .Net backend.
