Maku - "Sustainable furnishings for a modern world"; Offering authentic and unique products that can proudly be displayed within the confines of ones home by expanding the organic indoor and outdoor 'living space' into a sanctuary of relaxation and comfort intertwined with the lifestyle we live.

Reclaimed teak and sustainable raw materials, ample and quality production resources combined with the distinctly artisan work of the Indonesian people create furnishings unlike anything available in today's marketplace. Resulting in a challenge to the way business is looked at within the "cookie cutter" mass producers that are most prominent in the outdoor and casual living sector.

Maku asked Zygii to create a unique web experience that would set them apart from the rest of the bland outdoor furniture sites out there. The site also needed to support the purchase of the collection via a robust ecommerce system, but one that would not compromise the visibility of the site in the search engines. This normally presents a significant challenge, but Zygii knocked it out of the park with a site that is both stylish and functional, allowing single-page checkout in the shopping cart to increase sales conversion.
